A to Z of MS Therapists in MS (TiMS)
Therapists in MS is an organisation for allied health professionals who share a special interest in multiple sclerosis. Group members include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists amongst others.
The aim of the group is to improve MS services within the UK, through the promotion and development of the therapist's role in the holistic care and management of people with MS.
Members of Therapists in MS have been involved in the production of the books Therapists in MS: delivering the long-term solutions (now out of print) and Are you sitting comfortably..? a self-help guide to good posture in sitting. In addition, the group have supported research projects including core stability training for improving balance in people with MS.
