Urology is a branch of medicine that specialises in treating disorders of the urinary tract such as bladder and continence problems.
As in the male anatomy the urinary system overlaps with the reproductive system, urology also covers disorders of the reproductive system in men. This is why a condition such as erectile dysfunction may be treated by a urologist or urology nurse specialist.
