This interactive training guide uses different media to help you get the best from your competency framework and should be used in conjunction with the printed folder or CD.
If you are a UK MS specialist, you will have received this framework as a printed box folder. You will need this folder to hand in order to use these tools. Other health professionals can obtain a CD version of the framework at a cost of £50. Begin by looking at the video clips that help to explain the importance of competencies
to others, including people with MS.
The stand-alone self-assessment tool will enable you to complete a quick appraisal of your performance and help you to plan your professional development.
You may also want to use these resources to explain to non-specialists the value of competency-based MS specialist care.
