Dishing up donations!
It's completely up to you how you raise money, but we've listed some fundraising ideas below to get you thinking...
- Suggest a donation amount for the meal.
- Ask people to make a donation of their choosing.
- Ask guests to donate as much as they would have paid for a meal you have cooked if it were served in a restaurant.
- If you're a particularly good chef, hold an auction of promises and ask people to bid for a gourmet supper that you'll cook at their house.
- Play party games and fine people for losing.
- Ask people to bid for the biggest portion, or the last slice of cake.
- Ask a local restaurant to provide a £10 menu and charge guests £20 each. The restaurant might even give you a reduction on their normal prices on a quiet night.
- Sell the recipes to anyone who is impressed by your dishes!
- Hold a raffle.
- We're sure you have lots of great fundraising ideas of your own and we'd like to hear about anything that's been successful for you.
