MS Trust takes culinary experience to new heights!
The MS Trust holds My Supper for MS on Helvellyn Summit
On Monday 11 September we launched our My Supper for MS fundraising initiative with a stunning dinner party held on the windswept summit of Helvellyn in the Lake District.
The dramatic location provided the perfect backdrop for the sumptuous meal, prepared by the Michelin starred Sharrow Bay Hotel, with transport to the summit provided by an RAF Griffin helicopter from 60 Squadron based at RAF Shawbury.

My Supper for MS was launched this month to encourage supporters of the MS Trust to hold a dinner party for family and friends, with each guest making a donation to the Trust.
"The beauty of this idea is that the fundraising can be as simple or as ambitious as you like", said Jenny Kershaw, manager of the fundraising team.
"It's perfect for anyone - sausage and mash expert or gourmet chef, and we hope that all our supporters will join in and have a wonderful evening in the company of their friends and family whilst raising valuable funds to help us continue our vital work."
The whole event was expertly planned and arranged by Cas Park and Bev Dunning of RAM PR who have chosen the MS Trust as their pro bono charity of the year.
Serving RAF helicopter pilot and Helvellyn My Supper For MS diner, Mike Laver, who was diagnosed with MS last year, said:
"The MS Trust do absolutely fantastic work for people with multiple sclerosis, and provide valuable information and support to both them and their families. Having been diagnosed with MS recently, I firmly believe in living life to the full post diagnosis, and I was delighted to take part in the Helvellyn 'My Supper for MS' to promote this very sociable and easy way to fundraise for the Trust.
"I am also involved with Mutual Support, the Armed Forces support group for those with MS and their families, who have been extremely helpful since my diagnosis."
