Icelandic Horse Trek

Horses running across a beach in Iceland

22 to 29 August 2010

Join us for a magical ride exploring Iceland's Snæfellsnes peninsula, often called "Iceland in a nutshell" because of its extreme diversity of landscape.

Open to experienced riders, this tour will take you through wide-open sandy beaches, mighty lava fields, craters and ashes of ancient eruptions.

Whether you like the easy going horse or a more spirited one, you can be sure to find the right horses to suit your liking. Experience tölt, the special gait of the Icelandic horse, as you follow good riding tracks.

This promises to be a truly challenging and unforgettable experience, and a delight for both horses and riders. We invite you to take up the challenge and raise valuable funds for the MS Trust to help us to continue to support the 100,000 people in the UK with multiple sclerosis.

Registration fee: £230
