Kerry does something wild!

Kerry Soloman took part in our Jump in June parachuting month, despite being diagnosed quite recently with MS. Kerry told us all about her reasons for taking part,

"My jump was not your average sort, as I was diagnosed with MS about two and a half years ago. Since then I have had a number of relapses, culminating in one last year which left me stuck at home, unable to function properly for about five months.

"I came out of last year with a resolve to try to live life a little better whilst I still can, hence the parachute jump - from one extreme to the other! A number of problems occurred, not least my weight and weak legs, but I'm pretty chuffed with myself for doing it.

"I'd just like to thank the MS Trust for all their hard work and also for giving me the opportunity to do something a little bit wild for a change! It's certainly something I will remember, even if my stomach does churn when I think about it!"

We'd like to say a big thank you to Kerry for Jumping in June and for doing such a fantastic job with her fundraising - she has raised almost £1,000 for the MS Trust!
