Kayaker with MS completes Land's End to John O'Groats

Glyn Brackenbury, who has MS, spent just over a month kayaking from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise funds for the MS Trust. He reached the end of his journey safely in John O'Groats yesterday (20 May).

Last year was a very eventful and emotional time in our lives. My wife Tara gave birth to my newest daughter (Poppy) in April however throughout the pregnancy, Tara really suffered with constant migraines most days.

Todays Super Nurse is Fiona Mullan. In 2003 Fiona was appointed MS Nurse Specialist at the Western Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland, becoming the first MS nurse in Northern Ireland outside of Belfast.

In 2012, 555 of our supporters took part in sponsored runs and collectively raised £308,186 for the MS Trust. This is enough to cover the cost of all the publications we sent out last year to people with MS and health professionals. Thank you to all our runners, your hard work really does make a difference!
