Raising awareness

One of the MS Trust's goals is to help everyone understand the impact of multiple sclerosis (MS), not just those directly affected by MS.

We work to achieve this every day but with your support we could help many more people across the UK understand what it means to have MS. It will also give you the opportunity to do something to raise awareness of MS in your locality and we can help you do that. By helping us to raise awareness of MS and the MS Trust you will help us to improve the lives of people with the condition, as well as their loved ones and carers.

How can you help?

There are many ways in which you could help raise awareness of MS and the MS Trust. Here are just a few...

  • You could set up an information stand at work, in your local library, your GP's office or anywhere that you think might get people's attention
  • Display posters and/or leaflets in your local supermarket, hairdressers, newsagents or anywhere that you think people will see them
  • Add the MS Trust logo, information and a link to our website to your personal and work email and website
  • Ask your local schools or colleges if you could give a talk about MS to the students and teachers
  • Hold a fundraising event such as a raffle, BBQ or party (please see our A to Z of fundraising ideas)
  • Enroll in My Garden for MS - open your garden to visitors for the MS Trust
  • Join our Facebook group and fan page or follow us on Twitter

Thank you for supporting the MS Trust by helping to spread the word about this serious condition and our work which helps people to live with it.

If you need any help, advice or supporting materials (e.g. posters) please do not hesitate to contact us on 01462 476707 or fundraising@mstrust.org.uk.
