Sell on eBay for charity
Whoever you are, everyone's got something to give! Here's how to start...
Step 1
Sign in or register on the eBay website.
Step 2
Go to the Sell Your Item page.
Step 3
Follow the listing process, choosing your listing category (or categories) and writing a title and description for your item. You can find some great tips for successful listings on the eBay website - click here.
Step 4
In the "Pictures & Details" section, click the "Add" link in the area titled "Donate percentage of sale to charity" and select MS Trust from the charity directory.
Step 5
If this is your first eBay for Charity listing, you will be prompted to create a MissionFish account.
Step 6
Set your donation percentage (10%-100% of the final sale price). If your item sells, a £2 minimum donation is required. eBay will donate the same percentage of its final value fees as you donate of your final selling price.
Step 7
Enter your payment and postage options (note: payment options must include either PayPal or credit card). Double check your listing and complete the process - keep your fingers crossed for lots of bids!
Step 8
After your item sells, you collect payment from the buyer as usual. MissionFish will then contact you to collect your charity donation and will forward it to us (minus a deduction to cover costs). MissionFish also collects and delivers Gift Aid on your donation, if you have made a Gift Aid declaration.
