Volunteer in a Cards for Good Causes shop and help us support everyone affected by MS
Each year the MS Trust is invited to sell Christmas cards in Cards for Good Causes shops around the country. This year we have been invited to sell cards in over 300 shops, so we really need your help. We are looking for volunteers to help in local multi-charity Christmas card shops in the 6-8 week lead up to Christmas. Many volunteers work one session (3 hours) per week, or one session per fortnight for the duration of the season. All that is asked is having made a commitment to a time period, you do everything you can to fulfil it.
This year we are particularly looking for volunteers in York, Faversham and London Westminster.
These temporary charity Christmas card shops are in local churches, libraries, community centres, tourist information centres and museums and sell cards on behalf of approximately 300 national and local charities. Volunteering in a Cards for Good Causes shop can be a great way to get work experience, learn new skills and meet new people in a friendly environment. All the while you will be supporting the work of the MS Trust.
With shops from Yeovil to York, several in London and many more in-between, the chances are there will be a shop near you! More shop locations will be added too later in the year so register now and we can advise if a shop opens in your town.
