Volunteering in Cards for Good Causes helped me to regain some confidence after leaving my full-time job due to the fatigue and cognitive difficulties I'd been experiencing with my MS. I took to the till quickly, which was reassuring, and really enjoyed meeting fellow volunteers and serving customers

Volunteer in a Cards for Good Causes shop
Volunteer in a Cards for Good Causes shop and help us support everyone affected by MS
Each year the MS Trust is invited to sell Christmas cards in over 300 Cards for Good Causes shops around the country. We are looking for volunteers for many of these multi-charity Christmas card shops in the 6-8 week lead up to Christmas. Lots of volunteers work one session (3 hours) per week, or one session per fortnight for the duration of the season. All that is asked is having made a commitment to a time period, you do everything you can to fulfil it.
These temporary charity Christmas card shops are in local churches, libraries, community centres, tourist information centres and museums and sell cards on behalf of approximately 300 national and local charities. Volunteering in a Cards for Good Causes shop can be a great way to get work experience, learn new skills and meet new people in a friendly environment. All the while you will be supporting the work of the MS Trust.
With shops from Cowbridge to Cambridge, several in London and many more in-between, the chances are there will be a shop near you! Check out the list below and register now for your chosen shop(s).
