Fingolimod granted priority review in the States

Fingolimod (brand name Gilenia) is a new oral treatment for relapsing remitting MS. Applications for licensing were submtted to the regulators in the US and Europe in December 2009. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the US has granted priority review to fingolimod.
