Tips for living with MS
Since it was published in 2002, Tips has been one of the MS Trust's most popular books. A compilation of nearly 150 useful ideas sent in by people with MS, Tips includes practical suggestions on saving time and energy, getting around, making the most of benefits and getting equipped and more. If you haven't got your copy yet, order the newly redesigned reprint.
- Do you have a tip for someone living with MS?
- If so, email it to us and we will add the best ideas to the website and include them in a future volume of tips.
A new, revised version of MS Explained has just been published. MS Explained is written for anyone who wants to understand the mechanisms of MS and what is causing symptoms to happen. The Times called the first edition "arguably the best guide to the condition so far produced for lay people".
The book has been fully revised to take into account recent advances and now includes a section on future avenues of research.
Spasticity and spasms factsheet
The MS Trust has just published its latest factsheet. This looks at spasticity and spasms - what causes the symptoms and how they can be managed. The factsheet is based on the articles in the last two issues of Open Door.
