I have been wondering about waddling, people have been telling me I will start doing this, and I wanted to know how and when. Would it happen gradually and sneak up on me so I wouldn’t notice when I turned from a human to a duck? Or would it just start one day?

Turns the love to anger
18th February 2009 by Hellie
This morning whilst eating my breakfast (porridge with chopped up apple if you really want to know) I watched the documentary “Here’s Johnny”. The documentary I mentioned yesterday, it was on last night but I was so tired I was in bed by 9.30, but as I really wanted to watch it I got up a bit earlier this morning instead. I have heard a lot about this film for months now, and I have been very curious about it, I had a lot of expectations and I have to say it really did live up to them. I loved it!

Here’s Johnny

Just a quick note tonight as I am as tired as a zombie at the moment. Ermm are zombies even tired? They just look like they need a good night sleep (or a few nights, and some stitches and maybe their own brain). Anyway, living dead or not I am very very tired. My brain feels like it has turned into slush puppy. But I wanted to remind all of the documentary on More 4 tonight at 10 pm, called “Here’s Johnny”. It is about the graphic artist Johnny Hicklenton who has got MS. I have heard from a good source that it should be great and a bit of an eye-opener. Read more on the MS Trust news site.

Ready, Set, Sleep!
16th February 2009 by Hellie
My second-half can sleep anywhere, on floors, in noisy rooms, or in broad daylight. Me, I have always been a “bad” sleeper. Steve says I wake up if ‘a gnat farts‘, and he might be right. I take a long time to settle and often toss and turn a lot. My favourite position for sleep is on my belly, hands under the pillow and my head tilted to the left leaning on my right arm. But since MS I have problems doing this because my arm falls asleep, and then I wake up from having a completely dead arm. So asleep that it feels like someone else’s arm!
