Happy world MS day? Can you say that? I guess you can, great to see MS get acknowledged with a global day. My mum even called from Sweden asking if I was doing anything fo it today. Sadly I am not, but I can always encourge everyone to go register their support at http://www.worldmsday.org/ . Next year I shall try to take part in some event for it.
Tycho is asleep in my arms, so I am typing this with one hand, time for me to try to sneak him into his basket and have some lunch.

Had a lovely day yesterday, we manged to pop Tycho in the pram and stayed outside from 2.30 to 7.oo. I braved feeding him at a Costa Coffee. I have always been quite shy so it did feel a bit funny at first, but it all went rather nicely. No-one payed much notice to me, so I didn’t feel too awkward at all. As I am still told not to push him around myself I am trying to make the most of the time while Steve is around. (more…)

Hello hello, sorry haven’t written in ages. Tycho has been going through growth spurts and I have been tied down to the sofa feeding him at all hours. He is still not gaining a lot of weight, so now we are topping up with formula twice a day. I really do hate it, but I don’t want to have a sad little man here either. As he is so hungry he hardly sleeps, they say that they should be sleeping 16 hours a day, I doubt Tycho get much more than 8, so he gets grumpy. Hopefully this will improve things. (more…)

Tomorrow Tycho will be 3 weeks old. Time is moving fast, but on the other hand it feels like this has been our life for a long time. We are getting a little more sleep, maybe manage 4-5 hours a night, not all in one go ofcourse but between feedings. He has started putting some weight on, so we are still doing the formula feed at 10 pm, then I normally go to bed and Steve stays up with Tycho, until he falls asleep and then take him upstairs, then I do night service. So 3 nights in a row now we have given in to giving Tycho formula at 10 pm. The midwife was getting worried about my health from getting no sleep what so ever, plus the fact that Tycho was still loosing weight. Now we do get a little more sleep and Tycho has put on 30 grams, so I guess this is ok. But I actually felt awful giving him the formula the first time. It felt like I couldn’t do anything right.
