Baby, MS and Me Home

6 months

On the 22nd Tycho turned 6 months! I can’t believe how fast times moves. We are both doing ok, well better than ok, I love being a mother and he is such a little bundle of fun. Sure it is hard work when he wont sleep at night or when he cries a lot due to the pain of teething. But it is all worth it!

I guess I have also made it through 6 moths without a relapse too. Funny thing even just writing that makes me think I will jinx it. But this will mean I haven’t had a relapse in two years. I am seeing the neuro on Monday, will be interesting to hear what he has to say regarding drugs.

It is strange but I expected to feel much more fatigued than I have. Sure I have my days when I feel really exhausted. But even with sleepless nights and having to carry around a heavy little lump I still don’t feel as tired as I did when I used to commute to London for work. But I guess it really does help that I often lay down and have a nap when Tycho has a nap. Maybe the way to beat fatigue is too take siestas.

Today I took a long walk to the next town, it was nice and sunny outside. I need to try to get back in shape so walking is a start. I did notice the old leg acting up a little, feeling stiff and such. But all in all not bad. We ended up outside my husbands work so went in to surprise him. Then we took the train home.

I want to share this clip I filmed on my phone this evening. Tycho has since he gotten bigger (he is over 8 kilos now) he has become rather boisterous. Here is is showing a soft book who is the boss!

xoxo
