Baby, MS and Me Home

Bananas, Potatoes and Swedes

we have been giving Tycho solid food for a week and a half now. This week he is having 2 meals. It is all going rather well, he doesn’t like sitting in the highchair much so mostly I have him on my lap. So far his favorites seems to be sweet potatoes and pear mixed with baby rice. Tomorrow I am intending on trying out banana. I am myself allergic to banana, but I really hope he will not have inherited that as it is a handy fruit to have on the go.

It was my birthday on Sunday, I am now 32 years old..young. I was just telling a friend I am getting stiff feet in the mornings, and I wanted to blame this on me getting older. I think it is more likely me being heavier and not so fit. I am slowly forming a plan of getting back to shape in my head. I can start now when Tycho is eating solids, as I am still breastfeeding him.

During the weekend I have had two friends from Sweden to stay, one of them brought her baby daughter. It was great to have the house filled with people, but I was very tired on Monday when they left. Both me and Tycho have been needing lots of naps. Strangely my fatigue hasn’t been so bad post birth. I expected it to be really bad, but I guess so far I am not running around so much as I would do if he was mobile. I always try to go out once or twice a day for walks but they don’t seem to make me more fatigued. As for the night shifts, I guess I am getting used to them. I sometimes feel very tired in the mornings. It seems my fatigue is really worst at around 7 am, I sometimes feel like my entire body is made of lead. I guess I am no longer a morning person!

Here is Tycho eating some sweet potatoes.
xoxo
