Went to see the Neuro last week. It was all good, he was very pleased to see that I am doing so well. I have now gone two years without a relapse! He said that I should wait with going on any drugs for now, but go for it if I get worse. He said whatever I am doing, I should keep on doing it. I told him I had big fears about fatigue before I had Tycho, but even though I sleep far less than I used to, I am less fatigued than before him. I put this down to laying down with him when he naps and when he goes to sleep. Even if I don’t sleep I get a rest. A rest that you don’t get at work. Well saying that, in my old office I used to go and lay down on a sofa or in a rest room if it got really bad. I actually think most offices could do with a rest room, or a simple sofa to have a rest on in your lunch break. Not only for people with MS. A friend of mine had to take naps during breaks at work during her pregnancy to get through the days.
Today I went to the GP to get some eye drops for Tycho. His eye is still gunky. I asked him what is going on with the Swine Flu jabs. He said that they are now getting it to the surgery, and I would probably be in the second batch of people that get it. The first being people with breathing difficulties, but that they will send a letter soon to let me know.
Right I am off to read the No-Cry sleep solution to get some more tips on how to make the boy sleep through the night again.
