Speaking too soon

6th September 2009 by Hellie

Well well…seems I spoke too soon. This week fizzyness in my leg has moved up to my arm. Had some pains in my hand also one day, but it has been mostly ok. It mostly feels like both arm and leg is slightly “weaker” and fizzy compared to the left side. Annoying! I really do miss the gym now, maybe I can try to have a go at my Wii Fit and hope that Tycho can be amused by watching his old mum jump around and look silly. If anything I should at least dig out my dumb bell and start training the arms again. I must have gotten stronger anyway since I am carrying around a little lump of cute everyday!

Names, pains and fatigue

17th April 2009 by Hellie

Been waiting in a telephone queue for nearly 30 mins to get through to the Swedish Embassy, very boring and once you get through they are so effective you forget all other questions you might have! I think I got what I needed  though. After nearly one year of being married, I finally called them to have my name changed. Hopefully they’ll send papers quickly. (more…)

Busy busy

12th March 2009 by Hellie

Had a few days of being very very busy, mostly at work, but at home also as we are still sorting out the kitchen. Will try and update with some pictures this weekend. We are going to Ikea on Saturday…yay… I actually do look forward to at as well as dread it, I am getting more and more tired physically so if we are going to be there for hours it will be draining. Need to pick up a new table and chairs for the kitchen, and also a cot. I have also decided that I wanted to do a “I am going on maternity leave” lunch for my last day of work, so I need to raid Ikea’s food shop for goodies.

Something strange happened baby/body-wise on Wednesday morning. I woke up with a huge nasty pain in the small of my back, it was extremely painful, so much I got tears in my eyes. But after a few minutes when I tried to stand up, the pain went and never came back. My friend thought it was maybe Pelvic Girdle Pain but as it only lasted for maybe 5 minutes I really don’t know. It didn’t feel like the Braxton Hicks I got before either. So I don’t know, any ideas?

Right better eat some dinner and go to bed, I stayed in the office to 18.45 today and my brain feels like mashed potato
