Nemesis

7th April 2010 by helena

This superhero in training has got a nemesis, his name is Tycho and he is my son. Well actually it is not Tycho really, more his ear infection. My plans for a run got destroyed once more after he got up at 4 am in a very cranky mood. So no run today either *sigh*. I did go for an hours walk with him in the buggy to make up for my laziness. I am hoping that tomorrow will be the day instead. I better go to bed before 10 pm tonight and hope for some hours of sleep.

Wish me luck!

No Run Today

6th April 2010 by helena

…ended up having to take my son to the GP after a night of crazy crying and thrashing around. Seems he got a really nasty ear infection and we got sent home with antibiotics. I haven’t slept much and feel very knackered.

Strangely I also feel like I got a lump in the back of my throat. Seems it is a common problem. But not sure if it could be MS related, i have never had problems with swallowing before. This is not painful but rather uncomfortable.

Hoping to go for a run tomorrow providing we have a better night. Now I better go hunt for some dinner in our sparse fridge.

Back

5th April 2010 by helena

Back again from a holiday in Sweden and Finland. Had a great time but ate waaaay to much. I suspect my grandmother might be a feeder. My husband and me felt like we were rolling away from her flat. But apart from that I had a great time.

My little man has got a cold, picked it up from another baby, and I have been a little sniffly too. But I am hoping to go for a run tomorrow. I will restart the program from the start just to be safe. I just hope it wont be raining and that my son will sleep well this night so I will get some rest.

5th run

26th March 2010 by helena

My last run until after Easter. I don’t like having to stop the training but I don’t think I will get any time to do any running, plus I think where I am going there might be snow, and I don’t fancy running in that. Rest assure I will go on plenty of long walks with the buggy. And after Easter I am on the case again!

Run today kicked my butt, but just about managed it. I swear 90 s feels longer than 2 min at times!

Now I have to go pack!

4th Run

24th March 2010 by helena

First run for this week today. I meant to go out yesterday, but I still felt a bit odd after my throwing up adventure on Monday, so I skipped it.

Today was the first run that went for 90 s and then 2 min walking. Some of the 90 s felt like they were much longer. I just about manged to run, but I bet I looked like an idiot running in slow motion or something. I am quite sure I am not a pretty sight!
