Review of all PIP claims following ruling

All personal independence payment (PIP) claims will be reviewed following a High Court ruling that the system discriminates against people with mental health issues. The current rules state that people can't say that they are unable to take a familiar journey if this is due to 'psychological distress'. The review will be of records not of claimants themselves. No timescale has been announced for the review, which will look at 1.6 million claims

Balance programme improved symptoms

A programme of balance and eye movement exercises was designed, including standing on difference surfaces, walking and visual stability tasks. The programme improved balance symptoms in a study of people with MS. Fatigue and dizziness measures also improved
