Porter B, Nurse Consultant, National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, London
The recent Darzi review 'High Quality Care for All' highlights the challenges facing the NHS in the 21st century. Key factors include the delivery of health care in an age of information and connectivity and advances in technology which support people to live independently in their own homes. This talk will explore the potential of applying technology to support care delivery, describe models of teleneurology and suggest some new ways of working to embrace the future.
