Pathways to work

This presentation will give you information on the various ways a person with MS can keep their employment or gain new employment. We will look at:
- how the Disability Discrimination Act can be used as an effective tool to keep people in work, especially the concept of "reasonable adjustment"
- various DWP schemes to help people into work and to retain their job
- how we can work around an individual's cognitive impairments as well as any physical impairment
- how a job candidate can disclose their disability to a potential employer
- other forms of support for job seekers
