The new competencies document developed by Vicki Matthews in association with the Royal College of Nursing provides a structured framework to support personal development plans. This talk will explore how the framework has successfully helped shape personal growth as a MS Clinical Nurse Specialist new in post. I will discuss my experience of using the competency tool to date and demonstrate its practical use.
