The Welsh Neuroscience External Expert review Group, constituted in December 2007, was asked to look at the provision of adult neurosciences services in Wales and make recommendations to ensure their sustainability and ability to deliver appropriate standards of care.
The Group published their findings and recommendations in September 2008. They developed a source document which is designed to be read in conjunction with three recommendation reports for North Wales, Mid & South Wales and All Wales.
The MS Trust welcomes the Welsh recommendations including the recommendation of the importance of MS Specialist nurses and the need for a caseload of no more than 300 patients.
