University of Southampton - This project used post-discharge interviews to investigate the perceived needs and priorities of people with progressive MS and whether these are being managed effectively on general hospital wards.
Quality of Life in MS: Proxy versus patient ratings
Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust - Despite advances in developing tools for measuring Quality of Life in MS, challenges remain due to the exclusion of highly relevant opinions from patients with communication difficulties. This work evaluated both the value and possible limitations of proxy ratings.
