Health status, functional disability and quality of life in MS
An analysis of a national longitudinal survey
MS Research Unit, Brunel University
A wide range of data on people with MS has been gathered, much of which relates to the perceived health and functional status of people with MS, as well as data on their quality of life. In particular, a longitudinal study was undertaken as part of the work of the Unit in which at five time points at six-monthly intervals these features of the lives of people with MS were assessed.
The findings from this study have now been published providing the basis for a significant commentary on the role of MS in people's lives from a range of different perspectives.
