This competency framework sets out the competencies needed to deliver specialist care to people with MS from pre-diagnosis to complex and end of life needs.
It has an introductory section setting out the aspects of the role of MS specialist and seven sections (domains) reflecting a stage of living with MS. Each of these set out the competencies and performance indicators (at three skill levels), knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors that are required to deliver a specialist service to people with MS.
