About MS Forward View
MS Forward View was a one-year project to identify the priority actions needed across the MS services to deliver efficient, effective and equitable services for everyone with MS.
MS Forward View consensus
Using the evidence we collected in MS Forward View, and feedback from the lay forum and advisory group, we have created the nine MS Forward View consensus statements. These present a shared view about the priority actions needed to make MS services fairer, more efficient and more effective for everyone with MS.
Mapping access to MS nursing across the UK
As part of MS Forward View, we’ve surveyed all the MS teams in the UK to build an accurate picture of the accessibility of MS nurse services and update our ‘Case for Equitable Provision’ report.
Funding and NHS MS services in England
The commissioning of NHS MS services in England is complex and confusing. We’ve created a guide for MS health professionals to understand how NHS funding flows impact their services.
Improving services for people with advanced MS
One area we focused on as part of MS Forward View is care for people with advanced MS. We have written a report about how services for people with advanced MS may be improved and capacity increased in this area of MS care. We hope this will help MS health professionals to consider this aspect of the MS service and implement change.
Improving the efficiency of DMD provision
As part of MS Forward View, we used a workforce mapping approach to look at how teams of the future can manage and monitor an increasing number of people with MS on DMDs (disease modifying drugs) safely and efficiently.
