Alexander Damms (pictured below in his MS Trust T-shirt) took part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride in support of his sister who has MS. He tells us about it below.
On May 4 2014 (a day before my 14th birthday) I completed the London to Brighton Bike Ride with the Bigfoot Cycle Club. It was a total of 62 miles from home to seafront! I decided I wanted to do this for the MS Trust because my eldest sister Jessica was diagnosed with MS a little while ago.
My dad completed the ride with me and all of my family were waiting for me at the finish line in Brighton. We had good weather for the day and it was a really great ride. I'm so proud of my sister who faces this condition every day with a smile on her face and I'm able to say I raised £593 for this great cause.
I had a fantastic time training for this event and the ride itself was awesome! I can't wait to start my next adventure!
