AAN 2016

The 2016 meeting of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) took place in Vancouver from 15 to 21 April.  Presentations included studies on drugs for relapsing remitting MS, research into ways to repait damaged nerves, experimental treatment for progressive forms of MS and investigations of risk factors for developing MS.

Genome study launched

Cambridge University and Astra Zeneca are starting a project to collect DNA from two million people to develop more targeted new drugs.  MS is mentioned as one of the conditions that potentially might benefit.
