Keep in touch with the MS Trust
Trying to keep up to date with MS can sometimes seem overwhelming. To help you get straight to the information you want, there are a number of ways you can have news about MS and the work of the MS Trust sent to you directly.
Open Door, the MS Trust's free quarterly newsletter, is available both by post and by email. It contains information on all the publications and support that the MS Trust provides, articles on a wide range of topics written by health professionals and people with MS as well as news about MS and recent research.

Social networking sites allow people to share thoughts, pictures, videos and a range of information with groups of friends and other visitors. The MS Trust has groups on a number of popular sites, including:
The MS Trust group includes updates about the work of the MS Trust and a discussion board where people can share thoughts and concerns with other Facebook users living with MS

Twitter is a site that allows users to share short messages of up to 140 characters. The MS Trust users Twitter to advertise recent news items and additions to our website.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows users to collect news stories from a number of sources, without having to remember to visit each site every day. To use RSS you will need a piece of software called a news reader or aggregator. There a many different types available - some examples are listed on Yahoo!.
Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want to receive, by finding and subscribing to the relevant RSS feeds. Within the MS Trust website you can sign up for feeds for Stop Press items, Recent News Stories (MS in the media) and news from the Information, Education and Fundraising pages.
Social bookmarking is an idea that allows people to save links to web pages in a way that allows other web users to see what has been saved. Popular sites include Digg, reddit, Delicious and StumbleUpon. Users of the service can see how many people have linked to a page, and can often add comments or rate the value of the link.
