Vacancies at the MS Trust

We are recruiting for two new members of staff to join us at an exciting time in our development, and to play an important part in supporting people with MS.

PA to the CEO

35 hours per week (full-time). Some flexibility to work outside of normal office hours may be required.
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

Our Chief Executive is looking for a confidential PA to support her, the senior management team and the Chair of the Trustees, whilst also ensuring the smooth running of the office. This is a high profile role as the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for people (internal and external) wishing to contact the CEO and will have delegated authority to take a proactive approach to solving any issues.

If you are a highly organised individual, with experience of diary management, producing documents and presentations, and managing a range of external meetings (including quarterly Board of Trustees' meetings), as well as experience that relates to managing a busy office, we'd like to hear from you.

Closing date: 12.00 noon, Monday 10 November

Services Support Officer

35 hours per week (full-time). Flexible hours may be considered.
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

Having recently invested in a new central CRM database (The Raiser's Edge), we have now created a centralised team to handle incoming enquiries through to completion and to process payments and other information that requires the use of this new database.

Reporting to the Database Manager, this team will represent the organisation in a professional, friendly and responsive manner, and offer a proactive, holistic service. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, multi-disciplined, able to multi-task in a pressurised environment and have a good understanding of the importance of maintaining and improving database records. In addition, you must be able to cope with manual handling duties.

If you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, pay attention to detail, and have an ability to provide first line, friendly and empathetic support, we'd like to hear from you.

Closing date: 12.00 noon, Monday 10 November
