Raising funds at Mold Hospital

£50 Fundraising Challenge

Angela Parker, who works at Mold Hospital, got her colleagues involved in raising funds for MS Awareness Week 2009. They raised a fantastic £189.90 as part of our £50 Fundraising Challenge!

Angela said, "We had a full week of 'entertaining' taking place throughout the unit, ranging from 'Guess how many sweets in the jar' - the winner getting the jar - to a meal for all the hospital staff, and a palliative lunch for all who attended. But the highlight was a waxing morning with three very brave members of male staff: Pete the porter; Wayne, a male staff nurse; and to top it all, the hospital chaplain, who went as far as having his chest waxed!"

The MS Trust would like to thank everyone who was involved in raising this money, particularly Angela and the three brave waxers!
