Advocacy
Sometimes, through disability, financial circumstances or social attitudes, it is not always possible for people to stand up for their rights and to make their views known. Advocacy organisations exist to help people in these situations.
Organisations tend to cover quite small geographical areas and are usually designed for specific groups of users, such as people with a disability, or problems with particular situations, such as disputes with health providers.
The following orgainsations have information about local advocacy schemes.
