Thank you to everyone who turned up at Twickenham Stadium to Move it for MS with Mr Motivator and the MS Trust on Friday which launched our MS Awareness Week activities.

We were delighted to be joined by Stephanie Millward, Paralympic swimmer; England rugby legend, Dean Richards; Harlequins rugby stars David Strettle; and John Brooks and the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Almost 100 people took part in the workout itself and there was plenty of time to meet and have photos taken with Mr Motivator and the other guests. Although the day had the serious objective of raising awareness of MS and the benefits of exercise for people with MS, the MS Trust wanted to make sure this was done in a positive and fun way and from the feedback so far, we seem to have achieved that!

On leaving the stadium, most participants were pleased to report that they were energised from the workout, had thoroughly enjoyed the event, but most importantly, had been truly motivated to fit exercise into their daily routine.

MS Awareness Week ran from 27 April to 3 May. Visit our MS Awareness website for more information on what we did during the week.
