MS Trust publishes new book on disease modifying drugs

Disease modifying drug therapy: what you need to know is designed to help people with MS decide on the most appropriate approach to treatment and to discuss their options with their health professionals.

The book is divided into three main sections. The first section introduces the currently available disease modifying drugs - what they do, how they work and who is eligible for treatment.

The second section of the book is explains more about the currently licensed disease modifying drugs, the differences between them, and what to expect from them.

The third section provides brief information about drugs that are not approved for use in MS, but are sometimes used people with MS or which are currently in clinical trials.
