Safeguarding at the MS Trust

The MS Trust is committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of children and adults at risk and believes that it is unacceptable for anyone to experience neglect or abuse of any kind.

Everyone at the MS Trust has a part to play in safeguarding children and adults at risk.

MS Trust has policies and guidance in place which set out the steps we have taken to minimise the risk of a safeguarding incident or concern. This includes robust recruitment practices (including DBS checks where appropriate) and training for staff and volunteers on how to spot, report and respond to safeguarding concerns. We are committed to raising awareness of safeguarding to help prevent incidents.

We review our policies and procedures regularly to ensure we are maintaining appropriate safeguarding standards.
