A to Z of MS Symptoms of MS
MS can cause a wide variety of symptoms, of which the following are the more common. No two people with MS experience the same symptoms to the same degree and post people will only experience a small number of these.
Some symptoms, such as pain and fatigue, can worsen temporarily, for example during hot weather, whilst exercising, or if there is an infection. Sometimes it can be difficult to distinguish transient symptoms such as these from the onset of a relapse.
It is also important to remember that not all the symptoms will necessarily be connected to MS and there may be other causes. If symptoms are causing problems, ask a GP for help or a referral to an appropriate specialist.
