Join Kenny and Rick on their latest adventure as they take on the iconic London to Paris cycle ride! This special challenge is to celebrate 30 years of the MS Trust and to honour the memory of their loved ones who lived with multiple sclerosis.
These two fundraisers are no strangers to challenges and have been supporting the MS Trust for many years through lots of exciting adventures, including scaling mountains, trekking across multiple continents, and mammoth marathon runs.
By taking on these monumental feats, the fundraising superstars have raised an astonishing £300,000 for MS charities!
Not only that, but the pair also built a strong friendship through their many years of MS Trust fundraisers together. They’ve shared some laughs and, of course, some tears on their many adventures. Their unrelenting dedication to support people living with MS has only cemented their bond further.
A highly personal challenge, and maybe their toughest one yet, awaits them this summer as both fundraisers recently lost loved ones who lived with multiple sclerosis.
Kenny’s sister Kathleen unfortunately lost her life 7 years ago and Rick lost his wife Carol to Covid in 2021.
This time around, they're taking on the roads of France on a tandem bike, named "CarLeen" after the two extraordinarily inspiring women who never met but brought these two friends together.
One hazy evening, Kenny and Rick dreamt up this tandem adventure on the phone and since then they’ve been working diligently to make their dream a reality.
Their latest challenge was inspired by their late loved ones’ determination to live life to the best of their ability, no matter the circumstances.
Both Kenny and Rick firmly believe that if they can take just a smidgen of the courage and resilience that Carol and Kathleen lived with on their trip, they will conquer the journey.
Follow their adventure as they pedal their way through the roads of France whilst raising awareness and funds for people affected by MS.
