MS Awareness Week 2026 runs from 20 - 26 April. We're once again working with other MS charities to encourage everyone to raise awareness of MS.
This MS Awareness Week, we’re challenging the assumptions surrounding multiple sclerosis—and highlighting the harm these misconceptions can cause for people living with the condition. To better understand the real experiences behind these assumptions, we surveyed the MS community, gathering insights that have helped shape and strengthen this campaign. Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing personal stories, information and resources that shed light on the misunderstandings people with MS face, and the real-life consequences these assumptions can have.
Living with MS is not easy. We want to encourage everyone to pause, listen and learn about MS before saying something that might hurt or offend someone living with it. Think you know MS? It’s time to think again.
